Rangers serve at the frontline where people and the places they love intersect.

We believe in protecting natural resources and the people who visit our open spaces through education and the best practices of resource protection.

Our mission is to bring together rangers from across our region; together, we can do our jobs with greater skill and a higher degree of confidence, while building a unified voice for our profession and strengthening conservation and recreational experiences.

What does a RMRA membership include?

Joining RMRA means joining a collaborative organization of over 20 agencies in the Rocky Mountain Region. We facilitate communication between agencies, recommend training opportunities, provide best practices for our profession, hold yearly conferences, and more.

“For most of history, man has had to fight nature to survive; in this century he is beginning to realize that, in order to survive, he must protect it.”
