Dearest Gentle Reader,

It is with the utmost delight — and, dare this author say, no small measure of anticipation — that word has reached these quarters of a gathering not to be missed. Glorious rangers, take heed and clear your calendars at once!

Tomorrow eve, Friday, the 28th of August, from the hour of four o'clock until eight o'clock, the good company of Rocky Mountain Rangers is cordially summoned to Bambei Brewing in the charming town of Superior, there to partake in an evening of fine ale, finer company, and the sort of merriment this author simply cannot resist reporting upon.

Let it be known, dear rangers, that this is no ordinary night of revelry. If you mention “rangers” to the bar keep, a most generous fifteen percent of all sales shall be devoted to the continued glory and good works of our beloved Association — meaning every pint and sustenance (food) is also a toast to a worthy cause. One simply cannot decline an invitation so deliciously convenient.

So put on your finest walking boots (or your finest cravat, should the mood strike), gather your fellow rangers and families, and make your appearance known.
